Autor

John Allison has designed, sold and delivered professional English courses in France since 1980. After many years of squeezing in teaching between sales and management responsibilities, he is now happy to spend more time in the classroom as a teacher and teacher trainer. He takes a special interest in developing management and people skills. As well co-authoring the new In Company 3.0 ESP series on Supply Chain Management and Logistics with Jeremy Townend, he is the author of the In Company Second Edition Case Studies with Mark Powell, and The Business Intermediate, Upper Intermediate and Advanced levels with Paul Emmerson, Jeremy Townend, Rachel Appleby and Edward de Chazal. John is also author of Macmillan's The Business 2.0 Pre-intermediate level, and In Company 3.0, Macmillan's latest course for Business English, with Mark Powell, Simon Clarke, Edward de Chazal and Ed Pegg (2014). Jeremy Townend has spent over 25 years working as a business-English trainer and teacher trainer in Lyon, France, after a first career in town planning in the UK, He has been involved in the publication of various business-English books and he co-authored The Business Upper Intermediate with John Allison. He is particularly interested in practical classroom strategies for promoting learner autonomy. In his spare time he enjoys DIY and playing football.
